Problems when I'm away
Yellow 250
I saw this post earlier but couldn't get my stupid phone to play nicely with FTE.

Anyway, Scott nailed it. Have her check the boots for the charge air cooler. The clamps have been known to break but there are also issues with oil in the boots that can cause the boots to slip or pop off. Easy fix if it's what's wrong (and it sounds like it is).
The boost drop is because of the boot(s) coming off which also explains the sucking or whooshing sound she heard.
On edit, here are some threads on the boots, CAC, etc.

If she finds the boots and / or clamps need to be replaced, she can contact Clay at Riff-Raff Diesel. He's a site sponsor here and a great guy. He'll get her fixed up with whatever she needs. His contact info is in some of the threads I linked above.
