Welcome to FTE. I have the OBA ( overboost annialator ). I havent tried the valve so no opinion on that. Have heard some people wernt happy with them so they went with the OBA. I will look for a link and post it. Not sure about the boost tube thing neither. I just have the red line unhoooked and have no problems.

Just use the mapfooler... that is all you need.

In regards to the first item you linked to, just unplug the red line from your wastegate and hook it onto one of the IC band clamps, keeps the wastegate from dumping your boost.

To eliminate the CEL because of "overboost" you need to fool the MAP sensor. You need a device that will keep any boost above about 23 lbs from being sensed by the MAP sensor. Just plugging the red line will not do this. Plugging the red line just keeps the wastegate from opening. The overboost will still be sensed and cause a CEL.

And if you frequently get more than 25 #'s of boost your turbo will not like you...

I reasearched the snot out of it and the ITP model seems like the best to me. If you want the other kind Ron'spowerstroke will probably give you his (he already offered me...) Also, the ITP one looks a lot more refined and "cleaner" than the others.

Good point, I didn't really read the first post that well apparently.
I have a free MAP fooler in the works to take care of the SES/CEL light. Don't think I'll need it without a chip, but I plan on a DP Tuner someday so I'm sure it will come in handy then.
