so tex, is my theory correct. the more weight the food they eat?
Actually you can't measure that.
This will probably be more then you want to know, but:
Horses lack sensation of "fullness". Reason why you almost always see them eating out in the field. Main reason that they stop is due to being tired (mainly due to heat considering this time of year). Why you have to worry about them getting into the feed bin etc. They lack the impulses that lets their brain know to stop eating. Big reason why colic (upset stomach for lack of a better term) is such a nasty, and potentially fatal, situation.
I have a 2006 f350 6.0 I have 1005000 miles on it with a manual transmission. I am looking to get a little more power and better fuel milage with out loosing dependability. What should I do?
Damn....first 6.0 I've seen with a mill on the clock. Congrats!
Mike
One thing it seems that a lot of people forget is
Tire pressure. If it's low you have more rolling
resistance.Fresh oil of the right type and weight.
Don't sit and idle.Dump all the junk you don't need.
The less you have to carry the less fuel you will
use to do that. I don't mean leave your spare tire
out. But the box of pipe that you forgot to remove
from a job that happened last year would be a good thing
to drop in the shed.

Spare tire,I drilled two 4" holes in sidewall and poured 400 lbs of concrete in it and hung back under bed along with some 3/8 chain to smooth out the suspension. That engine can't tell the difference whether I have 2000lbs in the box or empty IMO. It is what it is not a Prius. lol
The guy next door and I pulled out some of his
stumps from some smaller trees. I put it into gear
and was down the driveway with a stump before
I knew it. The last one was a bear no traction
on the driveway. The 2 next to the city light
power box we did not want to try. Fear of
pulling the box off the pad and putting the lights out.
Or maybe it's real
What about that guy with his
hour meter won't go any higher.
What happens when you do hit the BIG
999,999 mark + 1 mile? Do you
get 1,000,000 and so on?

turkeys are worse. and they are much harder to ride, as well.
but they raise stupid to an art form.
and a dually doesn't look nearly as impressive with a bunch of caged
turkeys on a trailer as it does with a horse trailer behind.
and could you see the viagra commercial up there, with commander
studmuffin hitching up 12 turkeys to pull out his truck?
and if you sit an empty pail in a turkey pen, the dumb things will climb
into it and be too stupid to climb out, and other ones will climb in and
suffocate the first ones, and you come back to a pail of dead turkeys.
