Sorry its a 1993 351. I had someone put headers on it. They told me it was broken but it looks like it was made this way. Two pices one fits into the other.
How can I tell if it is leaking? I thnk I am going to unscrew it from the valve itself and look at the pipe. The haynes manual doesn't really show anything. Thanks for your help
Hi David, it is supposed to be "one" piece with a threaded pipe in the middle. If it is two pieces. It is broken and needs to be replaced.
And it is expensive from Ford.

this is the same problem i have David. local ford dealer has it for $32. problem is after using PB Blaster, it still won't come off. only solution is to take apart the exhaust manifold.
