I haven't been here for a LONG time, but have finally started working on my '53 750 Big Job. I've had it running and driving, and now need to purchase some replacement parts. Namely, a new fuel tank (mounts under the driver's side, behind the running board), and a master cylinder rebuilding kit. I e-mailed "Mid Fifty" and the response I got on the fuel tank was "if it's the same as the F-100, then we have what you need". Without having to chase these things down through various vendors, does anyone know where I can obtain these two items? Thanks for the help!!

The master rebuild kit may be available at a good local auto parts store or maybe even NAPA. I gotten many parts at my local NAPA.
As for the gas tank I think it might be the same as if Ford followed the same parts procedure as the '48-52 truck. I don't know for sure. I'm sure some one will be stopping by very soon who will know for sure.
