where do you guys get all your new parts, ive gotten them from walker's and napa, any other places around good to get them from... and has anyone bought any parts for their flatheads from jitney auto parts...i recently saw them in one of my hot rod magazines in an article they called the flathead guide of death and they had a 2 page listing of places to get parts for flatheads and the only place listed in canada was jitney and its here saskatoon...wondering if its any good
I get my parts from The Old Car Centre in BC. They have a catalogue for 48-66 trucks. They don't have many parts to hot rod your flathead but they do carry everything you need to give it a complete rebuild.
Napa is a good parts source for older trucks, I got a master cylinder rebuild kit for the clutch on my 57 F350.
Another place that I like with good service / prices is Swift Filtration on 50th street. A newer store with very knowledgeable and experinced staff that are friendly and helpfull. Mostly for the 70`s and up parts but they will try for what ever you may need.
George Moir in Stoney Plain AB. 780-963-7334 I believe has a source of parts for Model T`s up to 56 Ford trucks.
I don`t have any Flatties yet so I haven`t any info on them. If anyone does let us know. If you have jitney`s web address please post it here or a phone number as I have never heard of them before.
jitney auto parts (Keith Lee) 306 373-1139, he has no web address
Wow, Keith Lee is THE Flattie garu and seems like a really nice guy when I meet him at swap meets. One of the Lee`s have a sweet 53 F100 in light blue primer with red steelies that`s an awesome daily driver.
