Hello all,
I was curious can anyone recommend a good brand Master Rebuild Kit/ Source for my 1992 F350 460. I have searched and find many but my engine knowledge is quit out of date and honestly don't recognize these brands... so I'm here asking. any info would be greatly appreciated.
well you could go with one of the online stores(jegs, summit, paw) and most likely get name brand parts but maybe not brands you have seen before as you said, or you could go to the parts store and order a sealedpower kit. it would come with all sealedpower brand parts. unless you are going for a real high performance build i would prolly do that since any problems you have with it you could just trot back down to the store for. for performance there is no better place than the online guys for prices and availability of major brands. last time i built an engine i ordered from PAW. they had the best price but my stuff came in from 4 different warehouses and took like 2 weeks for a couple parts to come in to me.
I have to laugh at my self I recall spouting all sorts of engine talk back in the day and now in completely stupefied, I thank you for the heads up on the suppliers now at least i have a direction/base instead of the wild west google search results LOL...
