hi
well, i finally put my 6.0 back together with oem HG's and
arp studs. new oil cooler etc..
took a helluva long time to start, like the last time
i replaced the oil cooler...
but finally started and was running perfect,
for about a week.
now, all this sudden, its power is sporadic and blowing black smoke.
turbos erratic too.
seems to run fine @ low rpms and still starts fine
and idles perfect.
my cel came on and my sct x3 tuner wont read the problem.
it says "error getting code count"
recently my brothers 6.0 had very similar symptoms and
he had to replace the ebp sensor. but i would like to get
the tuner to read before replacing stuff.
any other experiences with this? i searched google and notta!
thanks!
its the 4th, not too many places open..
guess I can put it off a day..
ive tried my x3 way too many times with
key on and ignition on..
which one is it suppose to be anyway?
its alive! again!
so i checked the exhaust back pressure sensor and it seemed to not be
connected very well, which might be my wishful thinking.
anyway, the cel was still on but starts and idles fine.
so took it for a drive and it seems to runs perfect.
i plugged x3 to it and still says same thing, but this time i tried it
when it was running and also cleared all dtc's.
the cel turned off immediately and it still runs great!
guess i wont be taking it on any long trips for awhile tho..
btw, does koeo stand for key on ignition on?
and what is the meaning of ignition on...
when my dash lights up and fuel pump is on?
thanks guys
