Hey everyone, new to the forums here. Looking for some insight on my SCT LIVEWIRE TS tuner for my 2007 6.0. I’m having issues with the preloaded tunes (tow, performance, extreme). Before, driving on the extreme level, at a dead stop, I could mash the pedal and the tires would spin and throw some smoke. Plenty of power from the performance/extreme tunes. I had the alternator, fan clutch, exhaust back pressure sensor swapped out. After that was done, the tune levels haven’t been the same. I have had my truck for 5 years, and had the engine deleted and studded, with some other performance parts. Never had a problem with my tuner until now. I can put the truck on extreme, and there is such a minor difference from extreme to normal tuning levels, that anyone else that has never driven my truck wouldn’t know the difference. It shifts like it’s in the extreme levels, but the power isn’t there. No smoke or anything. I called SCT for some answers and I got absolutely no help. The rep for SCT swore up and down that the ECM was touched and messed with during the parts replacement. I know for a fact it wasn’t. So he had me “re-download” the tunes on the tuner itself to see if that helped. It didn’t. He told me oh well there’s nothing else that can be done, and that was the end of it. So here I am, looking for some sort of answers and to see if anyone has experienced this. I have been thinking about buying customer tunes for a few difference companies, but I’m weary of that because I don’t want to spend $150+ on custom tuning if there is something wrong with my tuner. No codes or errors either, it’s reading everything fine. It just doesn’t seem to be giving my truck the power it had. Anything would help me. Thanks!
