If you get to them fast, dish detergent and peroxide do a good job of getting it off.
If that oily **** has a chance to soak into the dog's fur there's really nothing that's going to get it out.

I'm not sure I don't really use the front gate. I come in the gales ferry gate since my boat is on the next to last pier and I live on the other side of ledyard center.

no tomato juice, I've heard that's a myth. I would've used dish detergent (worked well in the past) but this time was mostly on the snout by her eyes so I pulled out the hose and rinsed her head off and used the flea & tick shampoo. It got rid of most of the smell, I would have taken the time for a full bath but I was tired and ready for bed before.
