really? thats pretty strange. there is a firework store right off exit 2 of 91 in new hampshire, and my dad was saying today state police had a road check set up on the south bound enterance ramp stopping every out of state car and searching for fireworks. they take the fireworks and give you a fine!!

As Aaron said they need probable cause or permission to search a vehicle. If they have neither you tell them to pound sand and go home and light off your fireworks like a real American. Not this pansy garbage that's legal in CT.
