REMOTE START PROBLEM

I have an Avital 4113 remote start for my 2002 F350. It works great and I love the convenience. The issue is that over the past month or two the truck starts at random times without me pushing the remote. I need to go back to the place that installed it, but I leave for vacation on Weds and will not have time to get it to the shop before then. What harm will I do to the truck if I unhook the battery(s) for a week while I am gone? Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o>

This may sound silly but do you keep your keys in your pocket? I know that if I am working around my truck with my keys in my pocket and im leaning over a lot a key will sometimes push the start button and the truck will start. Usually startles the crap out of me! Never happens when I dont have the keys on me near the truck.

Its on a timer. Does it start every so many hours? Just need to get back into the programs and shut it down some how.
