We are getting the honey do list done on our f350 finally with some help from these forums the next on the list is the electric windows. The driver door started acting up 6 months ago could only get it to work by working switch back and forth quickly but now nothing the rear window drivers side you can hear the motor run but have to push up the window to close it. Wondering what goes out the most. Been told regulator but does that mean all the gears or just the motor? Yea know we have to remove panel to see for sure just would be nice to have idea before we start as hubby getting better but can't stand very long yet. Thanks for all the help and short cuts to check things out.
On the drivers side door the master switch might be going south. Eventually moisture builds up inside that switch and corrodes the contacts. It is real easy to replace the switch as it just plugs in. Problem is finding one and I looked around for 6 months or so. Finally went to Ford and purchased a new one for around $55, however that was a few years ago.
