Hey all, I have an 07 F350 lariat and lately when the temps get hot I have been leaving the windows rolled down an inch to let some of the heat escape when parked for long periods. My problem is sometimes when I get ready to use the truck the left rear window won't roll up with either switch ( the driver door or the left rear door but will roll down? So far when I wait a bit (a few minutes usually it starts working fine and doesn't bother until next time. This doesn't happen everytime but has happened two or three times this spring. Thanks for any help or if there is a sticky that someone can point me to that would be great.
What I found from mine, same problem passenger rear but it became consistent not intermitent, motor and switch on door were fine. Tested by installing in dr side door.
The trouble seems to track back to the drivers switch panel. I have not yet replaced to confirm.
The window motor is reversable by switching the ground and power wires. What I have was down worked fine every time, one wire had power other ground at the motor. When up was tried I would have power on both wires and no ground. Therfore the motor did nothing.
Hope this might help. Also all switches and wiring seem to need to be in place for the system to work, you could not unplug part of the system.
