well afterb 235k my water pump puked with no warning. I was crusing then noticed my temps go up to 225* so i pulled over got out with truck still running and look under the front and it looked like a water hose was on. water blowing out of the weep hole
i was planning on doing a coolant flush and hose's this weekend. guess i ccan add pump to that list. can you guys think of anything else that needs to be done?

I can tell you exactly what that B stands for. That's where he is trying to type on his phone and hitting the B instead of the space bar. Love my smartphone, but typing on that thing sorta sucks some times.
Maybe this you already know, but make a cardboard template with your new pump (like an stencil) and mark the holes for the bolts, then when you pull each bolt, put in the same place that is in the motor, in the template, I have been told that they have different lenght.
Yeah. I did this and it helped. The only difference is that I marked a center point in a piece of cardboard and just punched the bolts through in whichever clock position they are on the truck.
What I did to get the fan clutch off is grabbed the lip of the water pump pulley with a pair of Vise Grips and took a 1-7/8" wrench that I had narrowed with a grinder and put it on the clutch nut. Then, like Darin suggested, I hit it with a BFH to knock it loose.
