water pump early failure
Have a 1994 Explorer. Last February I replaced the leaky water pump with a rebuilt one from Napa. Also replaced the radiator, all hoses, and thermostat; flushed the system and filled with O'Reillys 50/50 extended life antifreeze. Now, less than a year and 4000 miles later, the water pump is leaking from the weep hole.
Could it be that the water pump seals don't like the extended life coolant? Or just a dud water pump?

Yeah---me too on this ^^! These days its not that big a difference between new and rebuilt water pumps---rather change 'em once and be done with it.
