Well today I managed to find the keypad code on my 01 Limited by punching in the number combos, took about 10 minutes tops. Still having vent window issues, first the drivers side was the only one working, now the passenger side works when it wants to and the drivers side doesnt do anything other than make a click noise, dont even open when helped. Found a couple loose resistors or what ever those things are in the overhead readout display. Funny thing is it works when it wants to. Atleast so far I now have working power locks thanks to the foil fix, a locking rear hatch and keypad solved. Also found that the jumper wire on the drivers heated seat was burnt just like in previous posts and got that going. Dont really think Ill ever need heated seats in East Texas but atleast its working. Still dont have cruise but I think if I replaced the brake sensor thing it will probably work. I believe the resistor to my rear air needs replacing as I only have air back there when its on high. So slowly but surely I am working out all the kinks on our new to us 01 V10 Limited with many thanks to the knowledgeable people on this site. Couldnt have done it without yall.
the crusie control issue is more than likely the cruise control module located in the passenger side fender against the wall by the a/c drier....had to replace mine....its about the size of a deck of cards....there is a test you can do with the buttons on the steering wheel to find out what is wrong with it....
