Cruise control button bench test

Cruise control button bench test
Can someone help me with bench testing cruise control buttons on a 1997 Club wagon E350? I have replaced the clock spring, tested the switch on the master cylinder, replaced the abs sensor on the rear diff. I have no lights, engine, ABS or airbag, speedometer is working fine, so I'm assuming its bad switches.
Does anyone have the bench test procedure for this? Only thing I can find is a youtube video for a ford mustang.
It is a OEM system.
Thanks!

That's an odd request. Never seen anyone ask a similar question on here before.
I assume they are just momentary push buttons. Hook up a multimeter to each side and then they'll show continuity when depressed. I say this based on basic electrical skills, not specific knowledge of your issue.
Have you tried this type of test?
have you checked the fuses?

Its an electronic servo motor so no vacuum lines, I replaced the clock spring with an OEM unit and am getting readings at the service harness so I assume the connections are good. It seems the buttons are not sending the proper ohm readings. I'm testing another set of buttons this weekend.

Ok just to follow up. It was the buttons. I had a frozen servo motor that i replaced, (cruise still didn't work) so I sourced out a set of buttons that tested good on the on and set, from the salvage yard. So now the set, resume, coast and accel work. Off doesn't but the brake shuts it off. So now I will look for a good deal on a new set. 1997 buttons are different then most other years.
