No, not on road, mostly for pulling the Bobcat up the long graveled hills on my farm and on a straight shot boat ramp. I'd say mostly to get it rolling, then shut it off. My steep washed concrete drive way is still a problem. Fresh rain broke it loose on Sunday, but at least the rear TrueTrac kept me going up hill. It is straight at least, so I suppose a front locker could help that some. Ice is a big problem there.

For ice you definitely want the ability to run the differential open. My rear TruTrac on ice is the reason for my current rebuild. Both rear tires broke loose on deceleration, with an open diff one tire would have maintained contact and kept it straight.

Well that doesn't sound good. Guess that's another trade off.

I guess a better question is, do you plan to take it out during the rebuild?

No, it's staying in there. It works great in most conditions. I now know not to let off the throttle when changing lanes on ice.

Hmmm, I'm a little confused. I think I remember from a Warn hub lock thread from a few months ago, that we all agreed that a 2006 F250 DID NOT have a Dana 60 front end. Am I getting this all messed up? I do know that Dana did not make an after market hub for my truck. As much as E-lockers are talked about on this site, they must be available, but I just want to be sure I'm getting the right one.

A 2006 F250 most definitely has a 35 spline Dana 60 front axle.
