What for? I didnt think the oil temperature would be a concern as long as the engine coolant isnt too hot....

I don't use the scan gauge yet. Probably next year when i start towing my broncos around. But I don't get why u would need the oil temp honestly. Try googling it or using the search function you may get a bite

because if I can, I'd like to.
besides with the South East's high heat, It's good to know.
I had it on my 7.3psd van... thought it's possible for the V10 too.

I see engine oil temp listed for the 7.3l, 6.0l and 6.4l but not for the V10. I don't think the V10 even has an oil temp sensor. The diesels may because the engine oil runs the injectors and pcm may have to know that for proper operation.

Since the V10 has an oil cooler on it, I figure the oil temp is going to a little over what the coolant temp is.(like 10 degrees more) I never tried to bring it up myself though, I was never really interested in it. I'm more concerned with oil pressure than oil temp.

I guess that would be the next question,
Does the V10 have an oil temp sensor?

Looks like a no-go on the factory oil temperature sensor. Here is a sweet alternative though (that you replied to, lol): https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...in-my-v10.html
