My wife's Expy has what I suspect is blend door issues.

When you turn the temp control to full hot or full cold there is a clicking in the dash. On full cold A/C she can still feel some heat blowing. Same with full heat she still feels some cold air.

From what I have read this is the blend door issue? I have read the posts about taking the dash apart to fix.

Is there a kit to fix? What do I need to buy before taking this thing apart?

 

Plenty of threads on it here. Two ways to fix, dash removal or through the back of the glove box with a product from Heater Treater.

 

With the symptoms I described above, do you guys think it is the blend door or should I go in armed with a new actuator also?

 

In the front it is the blend door axle that typically breaks, in the rear it is the actuator gears that strip.
