Aaron, I can't wait to tear the engine for my CC down. That's going to be an enjoyable part of the project for me. I can't wait to see that thing on the stand all painted up and detailed out!

I know right? I cant wait to get some shiny new parts for inside. The cc needs some love! Its so ...um...empty without its thread around here...
I had my block in the bed of the truck for less than 24 hrs...then gone again.
It may just stay at the machine shop until I do something with it.He is who we use at work and loves to store stuff for us from the shop.I think I will did the heads out tomorrow and pull the valves out. wish I had a sleve puller so I didnt have to run down to the dealership. its a pain to get there.

Josh, yea,I will check on motorcraft pricing through work tomorrow.

For getting the injector cups out.I said sleve when I meant cups.I am hoping maybe one is cracked and that is why the engine was pulled. I think I am going to swap the 17 onto the truck this week I hope its good.. BUT I have to fix the dodge first...still..lol

What did he do in such an incredibly short amount of time to that poor old pickup?

well ...ill be danged..there it is...the crankshaft is done at the machine shop.
It didnt need ground.Just a polish and he said it was like new.I guess I need to call him and discuss the bores now.NOT that im in a hurry here.

I will throw up some pics of the block clean and maybe ill take the pedestal in soon and eliminate the ebp assy...I been practicing my mad alluminum tig abilities lately.

I have decided pretty much to do a 38r turbo. I have the sd plenums and pedistal.just need to get an exh collector and build a spyder or buy a sd.I have the j-bends to build most of the cold side stuff from the cummins project.
the plenums are new and I need to blast the manifolds...I know I will need the drivers SD manifold...not sure if I can also use the pass manifold? or they are the same.Ill have to study this.

I want to tear the engine for my cc down, but I can't until I get the engine pulled out of the '94.5. I have to have one on a stand for mocking things up and fab ideas. That stinks too cause that means I'll have to buy another 2000 lb. engine stand. I have one that the '97 engine is on, and my other stand is a 750 lb. stand, and I ain't puttin a PSD on it! LOL!!
