Wow, that was smart to go use that tool. Do you need a tool to put them back in? Was it hard to do or does that tool pull them right out of there?

That's pretty good news. So what's gonna be your next step? You still gonna rebuild it?

Glenn.yes.i. l i figured since he had the tool and was good enough to help me out.I'm going tp hot tank them and wanted them out for maximum cleaning.and was searching for why it was pulled.

bill.yes I'm building it.it had water in it from sitting in a less than leakproof wharehouse and i want this thing perfect for a run at 500k more on clifford. what u think?

I'm glad the mystery was solved on that motor Aaron! I can't thank you enough for coming up here and helping with those springs. It really wasn't to bad after doing a couple my self. Hope to hang out with you again soon.

Anytime! I figured you would get the hang of it.just something new is all.i am glad to help out! Yea we need to hang out again soon!

A huge thank you for jon pulling them out.I'm not gonna lie.i been sweating that engine not knowing exactly why it was pulled..hate to put it in and like a broken block or something.I'm glad it was somethinng simple.hope the rest of the build goes well now.going to pull the heads rest of ghe way down this week for hot tanking and see how guides and seats are .

Thanks Dually,I honesly wish funds would allow me to make faster progress.im saving for the engine kit hopefully by the end of summer.I know...that is a long way off...
here is pics of the offending inj cup and heads ready to be hot tanked...took them today at lunch for that part.




and anyone want the pink stroller before I take it to goodwill? I can bring it to rre if I have to...lol

also,if you are dragging certain powerstroke heads such as the above pictured...make sure your aluminum tail gate protector is fastened...cause when the head gets moving and the gate protector stops the head with your middle finger inbetween...you almost loose the end of your finger...just saying...



also on a side note..Clifford in 4lo pulling an old antenna base out of the ground =broken chain. I won in the end though...

yes,my plan would b for springs,pushrods,head studs,injectors,t-500,gtp38r,efuel,and built trans from the core i have sitting here.and bellowd up pipes.

im gonna OT my own thread haha...

I pulled my cab lights off and tail lights the other night.I did some bartering with the painter at work.SOOO I got him to work his voodoo majic on them.
I have a couple more things to do before rre...stay tuned people..
