Yea Glenn,LOTS and LOTS of thermostats! I may dig that bowl oout and study it a bit on the work bench.Didnt really take much time with it earlier with bigger questions exciting me.

Josh,Yea that is the rsk I put in the front. Wish I had gotten it powderd instead of painting it myself.I should not be allowed to try to be cheap. And you are not an idiot,we both know that!

Im going out to the shop in a min and try to get something accomplished even if its wrong.

Sure do love the build threads. I guess I missed this one last year. Aaron I asked them to send stickers when I got my kit. I got some extras I will hold on to for ya.

Sky has directions on their webpage. I like Sky they are a local company and I really like helping Oregon companies, but I've heard several things that are gonna make me go PMF.

Well,I guess it wasnt so much a build thread as a tear down thread.Kinda pathetic that it took this long to get it all apart.Just been so busy and it was not real high on my list.Im now wanting to get it off to the hot tank or clean some way. Then my machinist to see if it has a bore problem.
I find nothing really wrong to cause it to have been pulled out.A different friend that works at a different machine shop thinks i should have the bores sonic tested for pinholes from cavitation. I am hoping it was just dusted. Need to check the motorcraft rebuild kit and see if cam bearings are included or available.Hot tanking will destroy the old otherwise fine bearings.

Thanks Gabe also! I do like stickers! Here come the pics...

Just have to build something to keep the lifters organized in and pull the plugs all out and it will be stripped.I will have to do some organizing tomorrow and get the work bench cleaned off. This engine is everywhere!

PMF is 100% bolt on from my understanding, Sky requires drilling a couple of holes I think.

Its all about the bores.it does not take much to leak a lot of comp.

And 8 1/2" holes get drilled for sky rsk
