Pulled the trigger yesterday!
Did you ever figure out the center seat belt un clipping? I take the smallest drill bit out of my set and poke into that tiny hole to release it. Next time I'm going to drill the hole larger so I can use a nail. It's a very small hole.
As to the warranty, I've only got about 11,000Km on the truck. I'll ask them to look at it next time I'm in.
I have to give kudos to my local dealer (not the one I mentioned earlier): I stopped in for some bottles of PM22 and to book an oil/lube service. I was assuming they'd make me an appointment for sometime down the road...
The gal told me I could drop it off at 6PM and it would be ready at 7AM the next morning; apparently they're so busy up here that the shop runs 24/7.
Nice work, Northstar Ford!
I've barely used 4x4 since. Had some mudflaps put on too. The local Ford dealer was actually the least expensive for all this; about 10% less than the local tire shops.
I'm wondering if the dealer was supposed to reset the TPMS or something though? When I picked up the truck, all 4 were at 55psi. I raised them to 65 (which should break the 75% threshold for the rears...), but the light won't go off? I'd actually like to run them around 60 for better traction unless I'm pulling, but forgot to ask if the dealer would lower the TPMS threshold for me... next time.
That just gives me an excuse to go back... the chick at the service pick-up counter is hot like fire!
