I'm waiting to hear back from the dealer today, but I pulled the trigger on a new F350 yesterday... factory order.
Would you believe that when 2 dealers searched, they located only 3 white Lariat CCLB with the Adobe interior in the whole country? None of which had exactly what I was looking for, so... given that this truck will set me back a hair over $60K, and that I intend to keep it 8-10 years, it was important to get exactly what I wanted.
I ordered a CCLB Lariat, 4x4, White Platinum, Adobe interior, 20" wheels/3.55's, moonroof, RSCH w/ extra HD alternator, remote start, rear view camera, tailgate step, bedliner, skid plates, etc.
I'm told delivery is about 6 weeks. That should be enough time to order a canopy for her, and some new rubber, Weathertech mats, etc.
I found mine on the lot, and only thing I didn't get was the gooseneck/5th prep kit.. got 2000 miles on it already, and haven't gone anywhere.. but I love to drive it!
I factory ordered also. The MOST difficult part is the wait, mine was almost 3 months. I've been super impressed with the truck ever since. Towed 2 horse bumper pull and 3 horse living quarter GN (10K Lbs) up and down the hill to 7000 ft where I live and have decided that this truck LIKES to work.

Sweet.
Now that youve come over to the dark side you need to do something about the user name!!

Maybe you should change your user name, you might not get made as much fun of!! LOL JK
got mine in 5 weeks. new rubber? what kind? and why?
I'm a homebuilder. We only have 3 working seasons up here: snow, mud, and late July. The factory Michelins aren't going to cut it.
I run mud tires in the summer, and studded AT's in the winter. I'm going to run Nitto Trail Grapplers and studded Duratracs respectively.
As for the name, it's just a user name I've kept for about 14 years; to do with a company I used to own.
I wouldn't have another GM truck if YOU paid for it. LOL... too many disappointments. The last good truck GM made rolled off the line in 1999.
I've driven a couple of 2011 6.7 SD's, and been suitably impressed.
Right now I'm wavering on the front seating arrangement. I've always preferred the split bench with the folding console, but I'm wondering now about the full console for the extra storage bins.
How far forward does the console lid sit on yours (any of you who have that option)? I like the 40/20/40 because the edge of it sits way out toward the edge of the seat.
Meanwhile, the full console has a 110v inverter, and rear A/C ducts for the dog! IDK... need to decide today though! (Definitely a 1st World problem LOL)
i wouldnt trade my full center console for anything. the versatility is beyond description. and the flip up seat is worthless in my opionion. not to mention the ac vents to the rear, and the added power points. priceless. and it fits perfectly under my arm.
oh and as far as trigger pulling, if you spend much time on here, your gonna be pullin plenty more triggers lol
This is my first truck with a center console. My wife's vehicles have all had them. Mine have always had a jump seat. I don't every buy my truck new, I always buy a year old truck, so I kind of get what I find and the jump has always been kind of just decided for me in what I have found.
I thought the leg room with a jump seat was great, but I never needed it (really). The center console is one of the interior features that I really love. With the exception of the top tray (I don't like having to remove it every time I need something below it) which should have been designed on the side or as a sliding tray for access below it. I think they designed it really well. No way i would be without in now.
Tux nailed it...you hang around here and you will be pulling several more triggers sooner than you think. FTW=Money Pit
I tracked down a friend who has one with the full centre console. As soon as I sat in it, it was obvious that I've gotta have it. What it takes away in roominess at the hump, it more than makes up for in storage and utility.
