It was nice to meet a couple of other FTE members last night for dinner. I can't say as much for dinner but nice to meet Josh and Jeff. And as always a good visit with James, *****, Lee, and Matt.
Dang Rasputin. That sucks. Hope you get her patched back up. We were wondering where you were and even joked about you pulling up on a tow truck. Catch you next time.
Yes indeed. It was a nice dinner with the q crew. Good seeing everyone. Nice meeting you Josh. Hope you make it out to a few more.
I think I broke two teeth on those pork rinds. The bbq was decent but I think the okra frozen then double fried.
Once it was loaded my wife jokingly said "Still want to go?" lol. I got the wrecker guy on speed dial now.
Rasputin, sorry you couldn't make it. I agree with Bob and Matt, the dinner wasn't the best, but it was good company. Looking forward to the next one. I assume that'll be the bonfire in Caswell county?
I agree with the group on everything. Seeing everyone was great, it's been a while since I could get out. The vittles was ok I guess, Just seems a little expensive for the portions. A large BBQ dinner plate and cool drank was $11.95 and the amount of BBQ on the plate was almost as much as Speedy's gives on a sammich. ( maybe they should remove the "it will fill your tummy" line off of the menu.) But it was worth it to see everyone and meet some new members I haven't met yet. I followed the jeep a long way out hwy 50 and was just waiting for him to pass the slow sunday drivers at any minute. Well time to get to work. Have a great day everyone.

Some cheap *** in the Jeep didn't replace the gears when he lifted it and put on the bigger tires. It'll do alright getting off the line, but pushing 60 it doesn't have much extra to jump past granny... But it doesn't see much highway use any more.
