Front Springs

In my parts catalog, It shows Part #'s

C5TZ5310C - 1965/1966 F250 4X4 1350 Lbs. 6 Leaves

C5TZ5310D - 1965/1966 F250 4X4 1550 Lbs. 6 Leaves

I have the lighter springs. I am looking to upgrade to the heavier springs.

THIS WEBSITE will build them (the website won't but you get what I mean). They list that they have 7 springs.

Does the above place just add a spring to the light stack or does the parts book have a misprint?

Dude your truck is almost 50 years old. Have springs made at a shop tell them what you want.

"I want a six leaf in the 1550# range."

No problem, what is the leaf width, eye to eye dimension and center line of front eye to pin?

Huh? do you want 1550# leafs or not?.........

Parts books are meaningless in the aftermarket.......

Why do you want the heavier leafs for? a more rustic Conestoga buckboard ride? Or did you actually add 500 pounds of stuff to the rear end?

my 64 f250 4wd has 6springs just tookem out today going to sacramento monday for rebend or what ever they do toem
neighbor's thinks i should ad a spring! idon't know?

And what is Sacramento Vintage Ford going to do with your springs? They're going to send them out to a spring shop and then mark up whatever the price is.

Eliminate the middleman, find a spring shop in your area and pay less.

should be more specific west sac spring they replaced( it was broken main leaf)a spring back late 70's on a 60 4x4 i had owner wasout today don't know$$
i'll go with his ideas for re-arc on front
the backs just clean paint, new pins,bushings & shakles(one was cracked and almost worn through, oblong bad maintance on my part & po

Not bending, per se: Spring shops heat the springs then re-arc them. If you tried bending a spring without heating it, it would break in two.
