headlights fading!!

Why would my headlights fade from bright to dim in a pattern like a slow turn signal? This on a '66 F350 dually.....

Do they get dimmer when you use other electrical things, or start bright and get dim as the vehicle runs?

Id look at battery, alternator, switch in that order.

Also check the ground wires for rust around where they bolt to the core support.

Also, when on, if you have a volt meter then check the connection at the head lamp to see what your voltage is at that point. It won't be 12V but if really low then you would be leaking voltage somewhere.
