Where is the greasy B-hole that designed the $%!#@& D50 ttb? I don't want to talk about how rediculous hard it was just to change out the passenger beam pivot bracket but crap man.
On a good note though I was able to verify that the ball joint I thought was trashed is actually still nice and tight. That grossly deformed bracket was allowing wierd movement throughout the steering linkage because the I beam was free to roam and it mimicked other issues.
yea getting the bolds off of the bracket was a real pain. we torched a couple of them out since they wouldnt come out cuz they would hit against the engine oil pan. have u got it all done?

Yeah man. Thanks for the brackets by the way. Exactly what I needed. I got em yesterday morning and did the job yesterday afternooon. I couldn't torch the bolts off since I still needed some in there so I had to be able to reuse the little buggers. That's what made it tough. I thought about the cutting wheel many times though. I'll tell you one thing. If I ever get a dana 60 I am going to destroy those dang bolts.
See what I meant the other day. There are a few engineers I'd like to bang there head off the table.
Yeah like the ttb team and the fuel bowl designers for starters. I'm thinking line em up and war hammer to the bean bags. I also had stupid big trouble lining up the spring eyes when doing bushings.

Ya i have been there befor. It took me two floor jacks and a winch to put a new front shackle on my truck. And after it was done i realized i busted the seal on my steering box.
