help with driver side window please.

I just finished my mowing my lawn before a big rainstorm rolls in. After getting done with mowing I was suppose to go let the neighbors dogs out, so after finishing mowing, I ho in my truck, get ready to head out, and as soon as I turn the key the driver side window goes down. It's acting like the switch is stuck on automatic roll down or something. You can hear the motor still activating so its still trying to roll down. It worked absolutely perfect on the way home I rolled the window down to come home and rolled it up when I parked it. Now after sitting for a few hours, its in a constant need to go down. Can anyone help? All the other windows go up and down perfectly. Plus its about to pour...

Sounds just like you thought, the switch is sticking or contacts are broken. You might be able to pop the panel and swap the switch with another, I have not looked though.

Actually just took mine apart, no switch swapping can happen as it is a unit, but if you open it up you might find a foreign object inside making contact? If not I would guess either the switch or the GEM module is getting wet. As you can see mine has seen some use!
