What tranny do I have?
New here.
This looks like a good place to get some good information.I just purchased a 2002 26 ft Jayco motorhome. It's on a Ford Super Duty E450 chassis With the V10 motor. It has 37,000 mi. The manual gives me two choices for the transmission. How can I tell just what transmnission I have, and the best type of fluid to use? The fluid now has that used smell, and is light brown. I does not have the burnt smell, so I just think the fluid hasen't been changed since new. I have no way of knowing. I am the third owner. The previous owner said he did not change the fluid.
