Hi all, hoping to get some comments from people who have/had a Lund visor installed. I've got one, and I'm on the fence about putting it on the Centurion. I like the looks, but it seems like it'd increase wind noise and maybe even lower MPG a little.
Those that have them, what's your thoughts on wind noise?
My 89 (which already is aerodynamic like a brick) came with one when I bought it. It doesn't make any wind noise on my truck as far as I've noticed. It does hold water when it rains though so when I take off it dumps it all over my windshield which kind of sucks when it's dirty water after I clean my truck. I do like the look of it though. As for MPG, my truck only gets 7-9 downhill with the wind at it's back but I doubt that it really makes much of a difference.
no noticeable noise with mine either, but i have a diesel too.
i eliminated the water dump on takeoff by drilling a 3/8 hole in the bottom of each of the dips in the visor that retain the water.

Great idea!
Thanks for the replies. I think I'll try it out. Obviously, MPG isn't a major concern...
