noise maker part 1
noise maker part 1
well...just finished installing my alpine deck, jury's still out on where to put the subs... gotta make 'em real loud though, the dude behind me has been driving me nuts whining about water in his yard from my yard...so its payback time...give him something legitimate to complain about...
Dragula is obviously the best song ever,
but I elected Lords of Salem because of the noise poteintial.
Whenever I hear Black Sunshine you gotta think of Morris and the Mustang.
(gripping the wheel his knuckles went white with desire
The wheels of his mustang exploding on the highway like a slug from a .45
True death: 400 horsepower of maximum performance piercing the night
This is black sunshine.)

Making me jealous sherm! I miss my old Alpine system in my XJ. (sold) Had the head unit with the picture screen and a WHOLE bunch of features I had no idea what to do with, the S-series tweeters and 6.5" mids in the front doors... 6.5" 3-ways in the rear, and two R-series 10" in a custom box. A 1000 watt mono for the subs and 1000 watts for the rest. After a friendly break-in that took my subs and amps, I mounted my new amps under the rear seat, (had to downsize for space), and made a new box that was more theft proof. Took out the spare and made a round box, (that an oxy-moron?) that fit the space... covered it with the factory carpet cover... no one knows. What do you put in a round box??? Of course a square sub! Tried out that square Kicker 10". Not too bad, but no where near as sweet as the original system. Also found out the hard way that custom systems are not covered by auto insurance. They only match the original factory system cost or $1000 max. If you want your system covered you need private insurance, just for it. Pissed me off, some punk kid got my system for breaking a window... I spent 6 weeks busting my *** on a drilling rig to buy. My "new" truck came with a Ford AM radio and two sometimes working speakers. Did I mention I miss my old system?
lol...i hear ya winter...every time i sell a rig, i miss my sound...but the good part is i always build bigger an spend more. i just love putting it together and feeling it!!!
