a cheep thing to try is the oil pressure regulator. often times they will jam up in the housing and stick after a high side pump failer. spring may look good but....
also there is a valve that the spring goes into.

This is what I would check to
In past reading the regulator looked good but the housing it sits in was coked with junk and would stick
Guy also reported he cleaned the LPOR housing and a little port within and issue was resolved
I will check the regulator again. Another guy suggested that maybe there was a problem with one of the cooling jets maybe to blame or a collapsing lifter. Any thoughts?
