I currently have a fuelabs regulator for my regulated return. I believe it went out. I'm not familiar with -6 or -10 an numbers. I would like to know which regulator I need to order for my truck.
What are you guys with Di regulated returns running? Thanks
Didn't check yet, supposed to rain until sunday. Since all my parts have to be ordered online I figured I would get one on the way. I'm a driveway mechanic, right now my roof is leakin. I'm still going to check it before I swap the new reg out.
Gosh, we haven't had good "what's the best fuel pressure regulator" around here in years.
The only one I have any experience with is my Aeromotive A1000-6, but it has performed flawlessly for mowt be 6 or 7 years now.
That's the same one I have, too. I'm kinda partial to it myself. I keep a rebuild kit in my tool box just in case the diaphragm ruptures. That's about all that eventually fails on them.
Do they make a kit for the fuelab? Didn't see it on their site. Going to check into the aeromotive.
I searched for a kit for the Fuelab, also. No luck in finding a kit. Aeromotive used to be the "standard" for regulated returns kits a few years ago. I don't know why some vendors switched. Being able to rebuild mine is one of the reasons I like Aeromotive.

I see Bob (dieselsite) is still offering his with the Aeromotive Marine regulator while Dennis (ITP or Strictlydiesel) is now offering the Fuellab regulator.
They were the ones who would argue for pages on end about whether the regular A1000-6 regulator was "diesel rated" or not. It was really entertaining.
I've installed two Aeromotive 13129 regulators and so far so good... I'm with Roland. Aeromotive makes rebuild kits for their regulators, I just need to get one myself. I haven't ran either one of them for a year, but I like it.
The AN is your fitting sizes... you just need to know what the fitting sizes on your hoses are and then get the right AN flare to AN O-ring adapters.
