alternator sparks
hey everyone, hoping someone can help out a lil, my buddy is complaining about his truck not running right with a low boost output. we expected an exhaust leak at the uppipe since we just had the turbo off. as i was looking under hood he revved the engine, when he floored it a big spark came from the alternator area. anyone heard of this?? the truck has a regulated fuel return kit on and the one line is close to an injector plug, does ficm make enough power to shoot a spark to ground instead of to the injector. i know that this problem is not related to the low boost, but just never heard of alt. throwing sparks?
