ok here we go,,, i have a 2005 f-250 6.0 4x4 crew cab lots of miles, its already had the oil pressure pump changed , egr cooler, and the high pressure oil rails along with some injectors, just the other day i was driving it and stopped in to grab a quick bite to eat, and when i came out the truck wouldnt crank up,, it turned over for about 45 seconds before it would fire up,, then after that example if i pump fuel it will crank right up when im done if i go inside a place for like an hour it will not want to crank up,,, bought some either, to help get it cranked up just incase she wont fire ,, could i be do for a oil change,, i know im a little over but i didnt think 1000 miles would cause that kind of issue, any help would be appreciated , Thanks

Fist, it's electronic fuel injection and pump the throtle dose absolutly nothing to starting the truck. So that part is just a coincident.
As far as that Either. DON'T USE IT. You take a chance of destorying the motor if you do.
To figure out where your problem is we will need some more info. Do you have any way to check for codes? What about away to look at some gauges (ICP reading, IPR %, FICM volts). If you don't have a way to look at these then it's going to be difficult to figure out where the problem lies. Scan gauge II can be had from autozone for ~$160 and will be able to read most things to get you started solving this problem.

Wow! I would shoot my crews if I caught them putting ether to new equipment equipped with glow-plugs..... major no-no.
When its in the Budget get one great deal see most everything on engine some trans stuff too
Its the best 160.00 Iv ever spent on a Scanner
Now It dont pick up codes to well but being able to see the engine vitals will tell most of the storey sometimes they run bad and dont set a CEL anyway
Havent heard anybody that was disappointed with it
You would have been Able to VERIFY a HPO problem with it Cuz just changing parts can be HIT N MIS hope the dummey plugs work for you and if your in that far just as well do the Standpipes to
I too have this problem about once a day. The truck starts right up perfectly every morning. And then it sits at work until i go to lunch and when i get in it to go home it will sometimes take up to three times where i will turn the key to start and it will just crank forever. I havent heard of any remedy, and BLADE told me that this issue maybe a hard one to pin point. So i have given up. I imagine when it eventually doesnt start one day or dies i will fix it if its mot too much or get rid of it. But the thing is, even if it takes up to 30 seconds of cranking to start, it ALWAYS ends up starting. I personally believe its HPOP related but i have nothing to back that hunch.
