I know its not a dent but I found a picture of my 64 from High School 1988. It had a 400m and a C6 with manual everything else, one tough truck to survive my teenage years.

That is a sweet looking truck. And did you know that 64 was the first year for TIB front suspension. I just wish the new F150' still used the TIB.

My bad. I thought and was always told as a kid that 64 was the first year. I stand corrected. Sorry guys. Now I know the truth.

I can only imagine. You have my sympathy brother. But that name is virtually a curse word in my house. Not to mention my butt gets very hot when I have to ride in one of them. Not looking forward to the road trip to the Woodward cruise with my brother in law. He has a 67 El Camino and insisting that I ride up there with him. Nice vehicle, but not for me.

Don't get me wrong there are a few chevys I like as well. But I can't ever see myself actually owning one. I can always think of a comparable Ford that I'd rather have. Now one GM product I would love own is a 66/67 Pontiac GTO. However to give you an example of my choices of what I like vs. what I'd actually own. Tri-5 chevy. I love em. But I'd rather have a tri-5 Ford Fairlane, and preferably a hardtop retractable. And the 58 Impala. I think that is a sweet car. But I'd rather have a 58 Edsel. I am of the minority here, since I think the Edsel is a better looking ride. I just love that big oval shaped grille.

And I also like the looks of the 67-72 C/K trucks. But I would much rather and like the looks of the 67-72 F-series truck. And well when it comes to the dents and bullnose trucks vs. the square body GM twins. I think we all know which I'd choose hands down here.
