And I spotted these trucks last weekend at the Pittsburgh World of Wheels car show. And I even got to see Danny "the Count" Koker with his band Count77 play at the show. The black 59 F350 is partially a dent. It's body is mounted to a 76 high boy chassis. But is powered by..... wait for it......... Hint (it's NOT a Chevy)...... a 302 out of a 68 Mustang. The guy leaning into the truck bed is the owner and built it from a bunch of spare parts he had laying around. Apparently he purchase a 59 F350 from a guy that left the truck to rot in a field, and built this wicked truck.
Not a great pic, but I don't see many dents at all in Southern Ontario, and this one was really nice! I think it was a '79, or late '78 due to the square headlights it had. I saw it at Princess Auto in Kitchener.
just a little north and west of Mobile... also saw a two-tone brown and tan in nice shape and a pale blue dump body with a rusty hood that i didn't manage to get pictures of somewhere in Mississippi... and 3 days ago i saw a really pretty mint green dent driving around Pensacola FL.
Yesterday my brother and I were on a drive and I told him to take the scenic route where I might see some dents, ended up seeing 3 dents and an old bronco, only got pics of two of the dents though. Bumpside I found a few weeks ago, looks nice on those slicks but I don't think it has much under the hood.
so i went to my favorite store... O'Reilly's ... because yesterday in the pouring down rain my driver's side windshield wiper blade decided to FALL OFF while i was doing 60 down the highway on my way to a dentist appointment! (the rest of that trip was fun... )
and this parked next to me while i was inside
i dunno what he needed, cuz he was in and out pretty quick... but i told him "nice truck!"
at least all the rain washed the dust off mine >.>
In season 4 of "Counting Cars" episode 13, in the middle of the episode when Danny goes "shopping" for another muscle car and they spot something - in the driveway to the right of the place they are looking at is a 73-79 WICKED 4x4 crew cab with LARGE rear flares. If you stream the episode without commercials, it is a bit after the 11 minute mark, there is a couple camera shots at it for you to pause on and drool over
