Saw this yesterday going to the crusher. It was a 4 speed truck. Just trying to decide if I want to get the brake and clutch pedal assembly. For what I don,t know, you know how it is.

If you grabbed the mirror supports I'd throw some money your way. Don't need the mirror or the D frame but that extra arm I'm missing
Sad to see such a (what looks like a)solid truck getting crushed
I know ive been thinking about getting the whole truck. I,m going back tomorrow to see if I can cut a deal. But you know how these wrecking yards like to play. They get the truck for next to nothing with scrap prices so low, then they want big $$ for any little thing.
Ya I didn,t spend much time looking at it cause I was there getting parts for a Dodge truck. But I did notice the wheels studs are huge on those probably 9/16. I have a 79f3504x4 also but thoses studs were definitly bigger than my trucks.
Crew Cab long box 4x2. Looks like it's in pretty decent shape. Sitting on a farm. Haven't seen it move in a while now. Not sure what year it is as I couldn't see the front end.
Makes sense, as my F350s also have 9/16" wheel studs. In fact, when I bought the slotted mags, I had to take one to the machine shop to have the lug holes enlarged
Also, the left-rears were left-hand threads-a concept totally lost on the boys at Discount Tire
Left hand threads. What genious came up with that idea.
It was more common then you think. The idea was the lug nuts would tighten and not possibly loosen at all on that side of the vehicle due to tire rotation.
Early '70's Mopars and all of '60's Mopars even possibly back to the '50's etc...one side of the car had right hand lug nuts and the other side had left hand threads.
Till I got a '77 F350 Camper Special and it had a Dana70 in it, I didn't know Ford to some extent had left hand lug nuts also.
