Cold start licked, now it's back.

Now, fast forward to a month ago and my last oil change. I decided to use 15w40 since I still have about 20 jugs of it laying around. Less than a week later, my cold start issue was back and worse than ever. Some mornings were 4-5 seconds before she would fire off. After a couple weeks of this, I changed back to my Rotella but, the problem persists.
Finally, this morning I noticed something when leaving the jobsite. When I fired up, the oil pressure needle took a GOOD 2 seconds to jump up. I shut down and tried to duplicate the problem with no luck. Is this a helpful starting point in my troubleshooting or is a scanguage in my near future?
Edit- after reading the oil filter cap thread, I went out and checked mine. Sure enough, I have a Napa gold cap. My mechanic must have installed it while in for my tranny flush @ 60k.

1) Change the oil filter and cap to OEM
2) Check starting both cool(doesn't get cold in S. Fl) and after warm
3) Buy a ScangaugeII, best $160 investment you will ever make
4) Keep FTE posted, we have this challenge all the time

Truck has ~120K and the cold start is most noticeable on its initial morning crank. After that, they are fairly normal. I hit around 10 sites a day for work and only experience longer start times if the trucks sits for an extended period. This leads me to believe I may have a standpipe/dummy plug or other 'leak down'' related issue.
As for my oil filter cap, I ordered the OEM replacement yesterday afternoon. Really bummed at the prospect I have been running in partial bypass due to an incorrect cap.

I have not had my truck scanned so I can't speak to the codes. Guess I will be ordering a scanguage to aid in my troubleshooting adventures.

On 4/4/12 check engine light tripped and I expected bad news to follow. New oil cap arrived and installed this afternoon. Went down to Autozone and picked up a Scanguage II to check faulty code. Results were as follows:
P0676 GPCM Cylinder 6 glow plug circuit Circuit open, short to ground, short to voltage, faulty glow plug
It seems logical a bad glow plug could be causing my ''slow start'' problem, so I'm somewhat optimistic at this point. I will be researching to verify it's the glow plug itself as I seem to recall an issue with the wiring harness chaffing.
Just wanted to keep this updated as it may serve as a troubleshooting resource for other lucky 6.0 owners.

Will be digging into the wiring harness first thing in the morning.

Been a crazy week with work and taxes. I did have a chance to perform a visual on my harness and did not find any obvious defects. Will probably be ordering new ones this month and go from there.
