Hi everyone, searching the posts for a while with no definite solutions so I need to ask this question.
92 f150 efi inline 6. Cold start problems (freezing temps)
1. starts fine. Idles high for about 10 seconds then drops right to an idle. Takes a long time to warm up.
2. When warm, it seems to take a long time to reach driving speed for the amount of throttle I apply.(does that make sense?)
3. During driving only> it will sometimes hesitate and buck. I can hit the gas to clear this up and seems fine for a little while.
>> changed plugs, cap, wires air and oil and filter - all done at dealer.
Reading up on this problem, it could be a number of bad sensors doing this.
Any takers on my problem? Greatly appreciated.
