Let us all have a moment of silence for Dick Clark, nicknamed the world's oldest teenager who passed away today at the age of 82. Yikes, he's 5 years younger than my grandfather...
Keep getting overrun by the native wildlife here at the house. This is the second one of these to hide out under our video poker machine in a month. Pool cue worked this time to get him to go out the window. Next time it's the 12GA. Notice his stance? Crouched and ready to strike.LOL
Need a snake, Will. Or a cat, but I would go with the snake.
I one of your neighbors a Gerbil lover?
Our Bengal cat is the one that lets us know they're in the house. He'll keep the little rodents contained until I make it home.
As far as the neighbors, there is that one guy next door. Never sets out candy for Halloween or does fireworks on the 4th. He may love Gerbils. What does that have to do with chipmunks anyway? I know you're not lookin for a date.
Seriously though, I didn't recognize that creature. I thought it was one of the kids Hamsters. Forgot that you live out in the wild. When my kids were small we had more than one case of escaped Hamster excitement.
He was a real dog lover.
He had many dogs that he found wandering around then took them in.
I was with him when he found a black lab out in San Bernadino. He really loved that dog. Was with him for years. Don't know if he is still around. Haven't worked with Dick in a while. He hasn't been around much since his stroke.
Interesting guy. He had such empathy for dogs but tough on humans. Even his kids.
There were also many times we'd be working in Vegas and the crew would be on the next Southwest flight back to Burbank and on to the plane would walk Dick to take a seat right next to us.
The guy couldn't stand to spend a penny that he didn't need to spend.
But he always paid the rate and the checks were good.
I'll miss him. He was an icon in our biz.
