Looks interesting Steve.

Gonna be a long day tomorrow. Have about 400 miles worth of driving to do so I can drop off a bid for the company. On the other hand, my mom asked my fiance to go to lunch with her and I'm going to surprise her there. She has no idea I'm heading home to drop off the bid. Scoring brownie points with the fiance and get to eat lunch at my favorite lunch spot. Shouldn't be too bad of day.

Check out the new official Ford-Trucks Store Banner

Anybody noticed this across the top?

I checked it out and it's all CAFE PRESS junk!!

Sorta' cheapens FTEs image a bit, as the Cafe Press stuff is mostly cheap crap.

We had a dog rescue volunteer set up a "fundraiser" before we were aware of it, and it turned out to be Cafe Press. We never had so many complaints about merchandise quality, and we had nothing to do with it!!!

The only reason I can think of for a business to go this way is it takes absolutely no involvement to get logo'd stuff out to a group. Send Cafe a logo, they do everything else, including making far-and-away the lion's share of the profit. They kick back a pittance (to IB in this case).

No thanks! I don't need another cheap-o T-shirt.

Hey Pop, I just saw that also. I bought one of their T-shirts last year that has oldfordcrewcabs on it and got the one that was Made in USA ones and it is pretty nice. I spent the extra cash for the USA one and it was worth it. But your right about them just kicking back.

Pop, the stuff looked kinda cheezy to me too. But I know that there have been a lot of requests for a store so that people can buy more tees and stickers. For a long time. Obviously IB didn't want the headache of running such a thing for what they probably feel is a very limited market. I think they are probably right about that part. But yea, Cafepress has a pretty bad rep.

We had one of my daughter's friends with us on a trip to Three Rivers and Sequoia. The wife pops in the John Denver CD....After a couple times, I started to rewrite "Leaving on a jet plane".

"I'm crashing my private airplane...." and so forth.

We don't see those people anymore, although it is unrelated to my lyrical abilities.

Always wondered about Good Friday. In order to have a Good Friday, there must be a Bad Friday right? So, when is that?

Seen that commercial before, love it. Though, I think the parents would have been around in 1980 if they were in their late 30's. Still, where did the kids get it from? Old LP's of their parents?
