About to install a dual relief valve on my MAP sensor hose, i have a t-fitting that is in the center of the hose already for my boost gauge. Do I want to install the relief valve closer to the turbo (before boost gauge fitting) or closer to the MAP sensor (after boost gauge fitting)? also do I want to to install it close to the boost gauge fitting or should it be a couple of inches away from it??
Thanks in advance!!
so i should install the chip and see if i get a ses light or a defuel at 22psi boost?
No, some tuners won't let it defuel, but you won't get anymore boost either. Relief valve just dumps boost. Boost fooler tells the pcm you have lower boost but let you build boost, and yes that means no defueling. Clay at Riffraff Diesel sells a good setup.
Don't mean to hijack but i also like 5 years ago installed one my self "young and dumb" Not knowing what i was doing. I thought it was cool lol . So i want to get rid of it entirely. Prolbem is i now have a map line thats cut in two. What kinda line or hose do i need to replace it. What DIA and rating.

Common 1/4" 30R7 fuel hose will do the job. That's what I have on mine with a boost fooler.
