dual relief valve install question

About to install a dual relief valve on my MAP sensor hose, i have a t-fitting that is in the center of the hose already for my boost gauge. Do I want to install the relief valve closer to the turbo (before boost gauge fitting) or closer to the MAP sensor (after boost gauge fitting)? also do I want to to install it close to the boost gauge fitting or should it be a couple of inches away from it??
Thanks in advance!!

Why would you want to install one? In essence, you're building in a boost leak.

Simple tuning changes can completely eliminate the need for a map sensor relief.

Doesn't matter.

With proper tuning, a relief valve is entirely unnecessary.

No, some tuners won't let it defuel, but you won't get anymore boost either. Relief valve just dumps boost. Boost fooler tells the pcm you have lower boost but let you build boost, and yes that means no defueling. Clay at Riffraff Diesel sells a good setup.

I would.

And like the others said.... if anything, get a boost fooler and not a relief valve.

Personally I prefer to take care of the issue in tuning, since it doesn't cost anything, and there's nothing extra to install.

Common 1/4" 30R7 fuel hose will do the job. That's what I have on mine with a boost fooler.
