On top of the valve there is an allen plug, can the boost line be hooked to this? Will it read correct boost. If I remember correctly these valves are set to fool the pcm at 22psi, that is what my boost gauge was reading after DP install. 4in exhaust 6637 filter.
The boost gauge line should be Teed into the hose before the OBA. IOW, it would be hose from intake to boost line with Tee to gauge, OBA, then MAP sensor.
Thanks for the input. Thats what I figured, would not read true boost, but my mechanic friend whos shop I use thought it would. I will either tee in the line or do the AIH mod. Are there any downfalls to the mod????

None that I have seen in the last year and a half.
Aklim's right. The AIH is only activated after a short amount of time at idle, in park, and when it's cold enough. Kind of like the EBPV, but that IS for warm up. As he said, it's for cutting down on the white smoke when it's cold.
