ED at ficmrepair has a great reputation around the online Powerstroke community. You can't do better than a guy who has earned respect from a very begrudging group of DIY'ers by offering exceptional service at good prices, combined with a warranty PLUS being reachable to stand behind his work. A lot of guys here pride themselves on doing ALL their own work, and they'll still farm FICM work out to this guy.
What strategy were you running on the truck before the FICM went out? There were some flashes out there that led to premature failure, so when/if you go back to the dealer make sure the latest Ford flash is loaded into your new unit. It would suck to get a refurbished unit with a bad flash on it that will just die again on you. And if you want to catch this again before it happens, the SCII I posted up earlier is an exceptional value that can save you a lot of money in diagnostics because it will display FICM voltage among most other things. Once it starts going under 45V the hardware is damaged and needs fixing, and if you catch it before it really bottoms out down into the 30s you can save the money on a replacement by fixing the board you have.
