Trans help please...
A friend of mine posted on our motorcycle site that his trans started to make a noise last night.. this is what he is asking..
My 99 F-150 5.4L sounds like its fan belt noise is the best I can describe, but I'm sure it's transmission noise.
*The noise goes away when shifting in to overdrive!
Fluid level is good. Color on dipstick is good.
This just started happening last night.
ANYONE with ANY idea???
