Trans noise after flushing
I have a 04 f-250, just had my trans flushed at the ford dealer. Now when I step on it and it shifts there is a squaling noise when it shifts, but when driving normal shifts fine with no noise. What could cause this?

If it is a squeel noise like mine, it is the serpentine belt slipping on the pulleys and not the tranny. Under hard acceleration I get the squeel. When I had a superchips tuner, the tranny shifts were very firm and I could get it to squeel so bad I would see blue burning rubber smoke behind me.

Thanks for the info. It did turn out to be the belt,it would only make the noise when shifting at 4500 RPM or higher. Lower RPM shift no noise. Ford put a new belt on hope it works. The other belt on had 24900 miles on it. If not will look at the gator. Thanks again!
